The Apartment Owners Association (AOA) of Amrapali Village, a residential society near Kala Patthar Park in Indirapuram, representatives of the builder and officials of Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) held a tri-party meeting recently and decided unanimously that the builder would provide requisite documents within a week and initiate the process of handover of the society by September 1.
The decision comes as a welcome relief to residents who have been complaining of a “callous” attitude of the maintenance staff appointed by the builder. Earlier, members of the AOA had complained that the builder had not provided several documents like NOCs from various departments and had not cleared payments to various government agencies even though the residents had paid maintenance charges.
The meeting was coordinated by YN Chaudhry, head of Enforcement Cell, GDA. But, he was represented by Sushil Kumar, junior engineer of GDA, at the meeting as he was occupied with office work elsewhere. The AOA was represented by Rakesh Kumar, the general secretary of the residents’ body, Ravi Prakash, a board member, other members of the AOA and treasurer of the FedAOA.
Rakesh Kumar said that the meeting was satisfactory as the builders agreed to the terms and conditions of the AOA.
Chaudhry added, “It was a fruitful meeting as both parties have accepted each other’s terms and conditions. The entire process should be completed by October 15.”TAGS: Amrapali Group / Amrapali Village / Ghaziabad Development Authority / YN Chaudhry / Rakesh Kumar / Ravi Prakash / Sushil Kumar / Indirapuram
