Ghaziabad traffic police advisory over Chhath at Hindon Ghat

Anticipating rush of devotees at Hindon Ghat on two days , starting from tomorrow (Saturday) and concluding the day after (on Sunday), for Chatth celebration, Ghaziabad traffic police has issued a traffic advisory for the general public.

The advisory has details of route diversions which would be applicable from 2 pm to 9 pm on Saturday and 4 am to 10 pm on Sunday.

Heavy vehicles carrying goods are not allowed to commute via Mohan Nagar. Vehicles going towards Meerut Tiraha from Mohan Nagar can take diversionary route from Karhera cut and reach Meerut Tiraha via Nagdwar Rotary Roundabout. 

Vehicles coming from New Bus Adda and heading to Mohan Nagar will have to take NH 24 route or alternatively can also take Raj Nagar Extension Road to reach Mohan Nagar.

Vehicles are not allowed to go from Hindon Barrage to Indirapuram or Pratap Vihar to Indirapuram via PS Link Road. Commuters would have to take Hindon Bridge or NH24 to reach Indirapuram.

All vehicles are barred from taking the road going towards Hindon Ghat from Buddha Chowk, Vasundhara and Kanawani Village.
