A woman died on Sunday morning when she fell off an 18th floor of a high rise in Greater Noida after being allegedly pushed by someone. The incident was reported from AVJ society under Surajpur police station.
While the deceased is yet to be identified, the police have arrested a suspect in the case.
A police official in Surajpur police station said, “One of the suspects has been arrested and investigation is on. We are investigating the matter from all the angles. However, at this preliminary stage we cannot ascertain whether it is a murder or suicide.”
The people, whom CitySpidey spoke to, informed that around 6 am residents of Tower-G rushed out after hearing some commotion and a big sound of thud. When they came out of the tower, they found a woman lying on the ground in pool of blood.
immediately informed the local police about the incident. As for the identity of the deceased, they were pretty clear she was not a resident of AVJ society.”
