New police post, station comes up in GreNo on residents' demand

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP),Vaibhav Krishna, on Tuesday inaugurated police post in Mahagun Mywoods and Gaur City 2 in Greater Noida West and a police station in Shahberi.

Three more police chowkis will come soon in Greater Noida which are under construction.

After crimes became more rampant in the area, the residents started demanding setting up of more police stations. The proposal to construct five police chowkis was suggested by SHO of Bisrakh police station, Manoj Pathak, to the SSP looking at the growing population of the area over the years.

The newly inaugurated station and the posts will cater to the problems of more than fifty thousand people residing in the nearby areas.
