It is always a challenge for people take some time out of their busy schedules to do something for themselves in times such as these.
However, there are fitness freaks who love to train hard and run whenever they get time. To provide a platform to people, RunFun marathon will be organised in Gurugram on Sunday.
The first edition of RunFun marathon is all set to witness the cancer awareness run in Gurugram.
It is an initiative by KJ Foundation to spread cancer awareness. KJ foundation was formed by Anand Jindal. It is a registered NGO with an aim to work towards creating cancer awareness among masses.
The concerted effort is dedicated towards promoting mass awareness about cancer disease in India.
The marathon will start from DLF Cyber City at 6 am. It will allow participants to choose their run according to their level of endurance and practice. Participants will be assembling half an hour before the event to get into groove before the run.
There will be 4 loops of 10 km, 5 km, 3 km and 1 km each for around 700+ participants. 10 km and 5 km loops will be timed where as 3 km and 1 km loops will be for friends and family where runners can set their own time.
Behind all the work and efforts for RunFun, there is an underlying spirit of sport and the desire to give back to the community through the marathon.
