The officials of Noida Authority on Saturday distributed cleaning kits to residents of Sector 52, a densely populated residential pocket in Noida. The kits were given for effective management of kitchen waste and dry waste.
The authority has been entrusted with the responsibility of implementing solid waste management rules 2016.
Amrish Tyagi, President of RWA, Sector 52 said that the authority has taken a good initiative under which it distributed cleaning kits for keeping dry and wet waste segregated.
He said that residents were given kits by officers of Noida authority and office bearers of RWA of Sector 52. On the occasion, residents also pledged for improvement of hygienic state of their residential pocket and city as well.
He said, “I would like to thank officials for distribution of cleaning kits among residents. It would help in keeping wet and dry waste segregated. We are going to maintain the cleanliness of residential pocket and sector.”
