Greater Noida: The Greater Noida Authority on Monday appointed RITES Ltd as consultant for effective traffic and transport management in the city.
To address the challenges related to traffic and transport management, the RITES Ltd will be preparing master plan for next 20 years.
Rail India Technical & Economic Service is a government-owned institution which has been extending its services since 1974. It has expertise in transport infrastructure. It will be preparing complete master plan for traffic and transportation system in Greater Noida for next 20 years.

An official of authority said, “RITES Ltd will be submitting its report in 18 months. Meanwhile, it will continue to give inputs on improving traffic in city.”
Moreover, RITES Ltd will be also preparing comprehensive mobility plan (CMP). Under which, it will be preparing a detailed report on current mobility and Traffic & Transportation. Solutions will be provided to the current problems for short, medium and long terms.
The official informed that the authority has directed RITES Ltd to suggest plan to decongest Pari Chowk and Kisan Chowk.
