Every Saturday, the weekly market presents a major traffic challenge for residents staying in blocks J and K of Kavi Nagar.
"The Saturday market encroaches upon the entire road. Traffic flow is disrupted and pedestrian movement becomes an ordeal," said Lalit Jaiswal, President, Kavi Nagar RWA.
Jaiswal and members of the Kavi Nagar RWA submitted a complaint to Vimal Kumar Sharma, District Magistrate, Ghaziabad. Sharma promised to discuss the issue with the local police and arrive at a solution.
