Greater Noida: A plumber was found dead on the terrace of Tower C of Greater Noida’s Park Avenue in Gaur City 1 on Friday. Recovery of the dead body from the terrace of the tower, which has sent sending panic in the people residing in the society, is giving rise to speculations.
One of speculations rife in the residents of the society is that the 33-year-old worker associated the maintenance staff of the society, might have hanged himself from the iron stairs installed there to climb up the overhead water tank.
The deceased has been working in the society for the last two-and-a-half years. As he didn’t return home after work (his shift ends at 5:30 pm), on Friday, his wife informed about it to his senior, who, along with some residents, started looking out for him. Around 9:30 pm, they found his body hanging from the stairs on the terrace and informed the police.

The residents see some foulplay in the incident. According to them, the door to the terrace always remains locked with keys in the possession of the security staff. They are asking how the deceased could clamber on to the terrace without the keys.
A police officer, talking to CitySpidey, said that the body has been sent for postmortem and the matter was under investigation. He, however, declined to part with any detail until a preliminary investigation is completed in the case .
The deceased was from Orissa and lived with his wife at a distance of five minutes from society.
