Residents, especially senior citizens of Sector 46, a densely populated residential pocket in Noida, are elated as they have got a place for recreational activities.
Earlier, they were not able to get a designated place due to lack of space. But they would now be able to enjoy their quality time at community centre. With a designated space at the community centre, the problem has been addressed and they have finally got a space for recreational activities.
According to TC Gaur, Secretary of Federation of Noida Residents Welfare Association (legal) said that there is a senior citizens forum in Sector 46, and its office bearers and members are very cooperative. They had helped residents welfare association on many occasions in social work.
Considering their works and requirement, the residents welfare association of Sector 46 gave them a space in the community centre.
Gaur said, “A big room is available for senior citizens in the community centre, where they along with fellow citizens would enjoy quality time together. They may also conduct meeting or play with their friends at the community centre.”
There is library in the community center where they may come for reading news papers and story books. Senior citizens have welcomed the move by RWA and expressed happiness as it would be convenient for them to do regular activities there at the centre.
