The rains should have sent Gurgaon residents into raptures, but instead left them wading through dirty, waterlogged streets. Here's what it looked like.

The rains were a welcome relief from the rather unpleasant weather Gurgaon was facing. However, it also led to waterlogged roads, and commuting became a hassle. What was worse, residents had to grapple with waterlogging in their societies.

The basement of Essel Tower on MG Road was flooded after the downpour. Rajesh Malhotra, a resident, said, “Talks have been on about this problem that we face every monsoon. The level of the road has gone up, which results in inundation at the entry gate and in the basements. Due to this, the foundation of the building is also being affected.”

City Spidey brings you a few pictures that highlight the horrible state of waterlogging in the city.
