New Delhi: Parents can now seek 30-day age relaxation for kids in nursery admission, says Directorate of Education (DOE). This applies in both private as well as government schools.

The department had implemented the upper age limit last year for admission in nursery, KG and class 1. A child has to be less than 4 years for admission in nursery as on March 1, 2020, below 5 years for KG and less than 6 years for class 1.

The registration process for admission in nursery in private schools will start from November 29.
