Noida volunteers plan to create 'Neki Ki Diwar' to help needy with clothes

Noida: As the winter has knocked our doors, volunteers of Sector 137, Noida, are gearing up to help the needy by creating a wall where winter clothes will be provided.

They have prepared a plan, under which, they are going to make a “Neki Ki Diwar” in the sector where donors and receivers will visit. The donors would be placing reusable clothes on the wall and needy people would be picking it from the wall.

According to residents, who are leading this initiative, the wall would be made ready within next few days in the sector and it would be unveiled on December 1.

Residents of highrises in the sector have been informed about the initiative and requested to donate clothes and warm dresses on the wall.

Under the arrangement, donors and receivers will be alien to each other. Once the donors place the clothes on the wall, the needy may visit the wall to collect it as per their needs.

They said that they named the initiative as “Neki Ki Diwar” as it is aimed at helping the needy during cold weather.
