New Delhi: Resident welfare association (RWA) of Kanti Nagar organised a free health checkup camp on Saturday in association with Gandhi Nagar Vikas Samiti. Special screening of eyes was conducted and patients were given free spectacles and registered for cataract surgery.
More than 100 people benefited from the camp. East Delhi Sahadara zone councilor, Kanchan Maheswari, inaugurated the camp. She noted that people were becoming health conscious which, she said was a good sign for healthy future of the society.

Expressing her gratitude to the organisers of the health camp, Mala Devi, resident of Sankar Market, said, “What could be better than getting medical facilities at your door step?”
More than 200 patients were tested for eye problems. Medicine, along with specs, was provided to each of them.
