New Delhi: The Delhi Police was successful in averting a major terror attack in the national capital on Monday. The special cell arrested three three ISIS terrorists with Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).
As per Delhi Police, the terrorists had planned attack in Delhi and three other states.
Police were successful in arresting three terrorists from from Assam's Goalpara. The terrorists were identified as Ranjeet Ali, Islam and Jamaal.
According to DCP Special Cell Pramod Kushwaha, the three arrested terrorists are also suspected in Ujjain train blast.
“We suspect that the arrested terrorists were involved in Ujjain train blast. The recovered explosives were similar to what was used in the Ujjain train blast,” he said.
