Noida: Director of realty company arrested for not paying land dues

Noida: On the directions of the Gautam Budh Nagar district administration, a director of a Noida-based realty company was arrested for not paying dues against allotment of plot for development of group housing projects.  

The action was taken following an instruction by BN Singh, district magistrate, Gautam Budh Nagar, for recovery of dues against allotment of parcel of land in the city. 

According to officials, Amit Chawala, director with Pan Oasis, a realty company that developed a group housing project in Sector 70, Noida, was arrested on November 29 for not paying dues.

Official said that the Noida Industrial Development Authority, the land owning agency in the city, had earlier issued recovery certificate against the developer, who owes Rs 254 core for allotment of plot for development of group housing project. 

The director was kept in the lock up of Dadri where the further action for recovery of dues from him would be initiated.
