New Delhi: Kala Niketan International school celebrated its 13th annual sports day on Sunday in East Vinod Nagar. Students mesmerised the audience by performing a saree drill, dumble, yoga and aerobic.
The programme began with the speech of Mrs Shimila Rai, director of the school, who talked about the importance of sports in students' lives. Director of Kho-kho federation of India and DIG SSB (rtd) Subhash kumar was the chief guest.
Tricolour balloons were released in air. Total 76 activities took place including both track and field activities like balloons race, shoes, socks race, relay race, obstacle race, monkey race and skipping race.
Anurag Singh, a student of class 10th, was awarded as the best athlete boy 2019, while Badrunisha, a student of class 9th, was awarded as the best athlete girl 2019. Out of total four house, Chander Gupta House won the Champions Trophy.
