Homebuyers of Sector 107, Noida, on Monday went on a protest against the delayed justice for homebuyers. They assembled in large numbers at the construction site near Salarpur Village to express their plight by lighting torches.
A homebuyer of Amrapali Heart Beat City, Puneet Parashar, said, that the Allahabad High Court full bench had ordered to pay 64 percent compensation and 10 per cent land to the farmers. But despite this, the matter is pending in court.
Arun Kalra, president of Sector 107 homebuyers association told City Spidey, that the court had been inconsiderate about the 5,000 homebuyers, due to which justice had been delayed. He said that the next hearing had been scheduled on July 6 at Allahabad High Court.
Homebuyers hope that this time the judge will deliver the verdict on the land acquisition matter.
However, Supreme Court has decided to hear the review petition on July 5, citing that they do not want to wait for the High court verdict.
Earlier, the apex court had transferred the same case to Allahabad High Court for hearing.
