Raj Nagar Extension: To pay their condolences to the 23-year-old victim of Unnao Rape, who passed away on Friday, residents of Raj Nagar Extension took out a candlelight march on Saturday evening.
The residents mostly from River Heights, a residential condominium in Raj Nagar Extension, gathered at Atal Chowk before embarking on the march. In a solidarity with the victim they held out placards reading 'No mercy for rapists', 'no one wants to be India's daughter' etc.
The victim was set on fire by four men, including the two accused of raping her out on bail on Thursday. She died at Safdarjang Hospital in Delhi on Friday night.
