New Delhi: A fire broke out in a furniture godown in outer north Delhi’s Kirari village on Tuesday. Fortunately, no casualty was reported from the incident.

According to officials, the fire department received a call about the fire in a three-storey godown at 9 am. Acting on the info, they department rushed eight fire-tenders to the spot. 

The building occupied a total area of about 300 square yards, the officials said. 

The incident comes two days after 43 people were killed and dozens left seriously injured when a massive fire broke out in an illegal factory in Anaj Mandi. 

The victims of the Anaj Mandi fire, mostly young migrants, were from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
