New Delhi: As the cold conditions have arrived, the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital started blanket bank for the needy patients. Patients as well as attendants can avail the facility by showing OPD card.   

The initiative was taken in association with an NGO. More than 20 needy patients were given blankets. 

Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla was the chief guest of occasion. Hospital superintendent and many other volunteers were present on the occasion.

Indoor or admitted patients and attendants can avail free blanket service. One can use blanket and can give it back once they are discharged from hospital. 

Dr VK Tiwari said, “Blanket bank will help patients to withstand the cold conditions. We are assuring patients of best health care facility.”
