Finding no response from the traffic cops, who they had met a couple of days ago over the issue of parking beside roads along residential pockets, one of the residents sent a reminded to the concerned officer urging him to keep their word.

In his reminder, Sanjeev Kumar, general secretary of RWA, Sector-51, said that he had shared details about the passenger vehicles seen parked roadside along the boundary walls in block-F of his sector.

He said many commercial vehicles were seen parked roadside near house number F-55 to 59 in the sector. He provided the police with photographs of travelers illegally parked there.

Kumar said that the officers had asked them to share with them all the details, such as registration number and photo of the vehicles parked in the sector for initiating action against the defaulters. "Complying with their request, I shared necessary details with the police and sought action against the defaulters."

The roadside space is not for parking, but they gradually turned it into an unauthorised parking lot, he lamented.

Early this week, they met with Ravinder Vashishta, Traffic Inspector demanding solution to the traffic problems. This meeting was conducted by the traffic police only.
