New Delhi: Adileela Foundation on Sunday organised an awareness programme on the increasing use of technology in healthcare facilities at ND Tiwari Bhavan in New Delhi.

The subject of the discussion was new age technology including robotic surgeries, artificial intelligence and digital technology. Nimmi Rastogi, health advisor and chairman of dialogue and development commission, was the chief guest.

Dr Kalpana Nagpal Reddy and Dr Arun Aggarwal spoke on robotic surgeries and their benefits. She highlighted that such surgeries can be done at nominal cost. Various other doctors present at the event discussed varied topics and health issues like Dr Kanwar spoke on lung transplant, Dr KN Singh spoke on kidney transplant and Dr Nishant discussed digital technology in detail.

Several senior officials and dignitaries attended the event. Similar awareness camps would be conducted through KN Robocare educational society in future along with planned screening camps.

Nimmi Rastogi, the designated team leader of Mohalla clinics will be doing tests for free and handing over the results within three days.

KLRamesh, health advisor of government of India, spoke on how government has taken various initiative to start national institutes for health in several parts of India.

Bindu Bhushan Dubey was another speaker who is also an Make in India awardee and Anvil Bharatiya Pratishtan President. He emphasised on the point that the environment and health are related and that they are implementing newer methods of sanitisation.
