New Delhi: In view of the ongoing protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in the city, the Delhi Traffic Police on Tuesday blocked road no 13A between Mathura Road and Kalindi Kunj.
Police officials issued an advisory to commuters coming from Noida to either take the DND flyover or Akshardham route to avoid the flash points of protests.
“Road no 13A between Mathura Road and Kalindi Kunj is closed for traffic movement due to a demonstration. People coming from Noida are advised to take DND or Akshardham to reach Delhi,” tweeted Delhi Traffic Police on Wednesday morning.
On Tuesday, the police had also stopped vehicular movement on the road that connects Seelampur to Jafrabad due to the demonstration.
