Noida: Going a step further to strengthen waste collection mechanism, Noida Industrial Development Authority has added 20 more hydraulic mobile vans to its fleet of door to door waste collection from across the city.  

Ritu Maheshwari, Chief Executive Officer of the authority and Mahesh Sharma, MP of Noida and Greater Noida constituency flagged off these vans in an event held at Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra, Sector 6, Noida. 

Residents from across residential as well as commercial sectors in the city now be able to avail services at their door steps. These vans were commissioned in the service shortly after the formal inauguration event concluded.

According to officials, the services of door to door waste collection has now been made operational for entire sectors in the city. 

They said that total number of hydraulic mobile vans deployed on duty has reached 305, which included 110 vans of the authority and 195 vans of a hired private agency for collection of dry and wet waste from entire city.
