Woman entrepreneurs share their success stories

Noida: Over 30 woman entrepreneurs from Delhi-NCR came together to celebrate womanhood in the annual women's meet organised by WinningStree, a forum by the women, of the women and for the women on Wednesday at Park Balluchi in sector 77 of Noida.

The meet commenced with the oath by 40-plus attendees proclaiming to “continue to pull up and empower each woman we come across in the winning path that we travel."

All the women recounted their journies – how they groomed themselves as entrepreneurs and marketed their products to be branded.

The event had two special guests, Dolly Kapoor, a 75-year-old salon owner from New Delhi, and Sunita Khanna, an ex-teacher at DPS Mathura
Road, who works for the environment and is engaged with more than five  NGOs.

Talking to CitySpidey, Tanusri Chakraborty, founder of the WinningStree, said, "The motto of WinningStree remains to share extraordinary journeys of every woman and to keep inspiring fellow women to do their bit and keep inspiring others."

The women were decked up in red and black themed attires flaunting different hairstyles and wearing gorgeous smiles.

The products of these attendees like pickles, decoratives, sweet items, Ayurveda recipes were also put on display after the event for others to taste and promote the oneness of women.

Priyanka Puri, the venue partner of the event, said, "Every woman here at the event has had her share of troubles, which they have overcome and are now striving to follow their passion."

From rental clothing to brand management to home-made besan laddoos, pinjari, customised chocolates, these women of today are making their passion into successful business models.
