New Delhi: Delhiites experienced a cold Monday morning with minimum temperature settling at 8.3 degree Celsius, which is normal for this time of the year. Humidity was recorded at 97 per cent. 
The weatherman has forecast clear skies on Monday with moderate fog on Tuesday morning. 

The Meteorological Department has said that some parts of the national capital may experience severe cold wave conditions through the day. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 15 degree Celsius. The visibility at Safdarjung at 5.30 am was 1,000 metres which was reduced to 600 metres at 8.30 am, while at Palam the visibility was reduced to 500 metres at 8.30 am from 700 metres at 5.30 am. 

The Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 310 at 9.40 am, which falls in the 'very poor' category.
