New Delhi: The Delhi Traffic Police on Tuesday issued a traffic advisory in view of the protests happening against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in the National Capital.
The Traffic Police advised people commuting from Noida to take the DND Flyway or Akshardham road in order to reach Delhi. The advisory was brought in as the road number 13A between Mathura Road and Kalindi Kunj was closed.
“Road No. 13A between Mathura Road and Kalindi Kunj is closed for traffic movement. People coming from Noida are advised to take DND or Akshardham to reach Delhi,” Delhi Traffic Police tweeted.
At present, Section 144 was imposed in Central Delhi's Mandi House area ahead of a protest march planned by Jamia Millia Islamia students against the CAA.
The students have planned a huge march from Mandi House to Jantar Mantar, the designated area for protests in the National Capital.
