Dwarka: Community people from various societies came together to spread awareness about importance of physical fitness in Dwarka. They participated in a programme which had many fitness activities including dance, exercise and power moves.
The programme, Fitness Party, was organised by a fitness experts Mukta Saxena and Payal Madan. She demonstrated about the ways to maintain fitness at the programme.
During the event, Payal Madan made people do various types of exercises to achieve fitness. The event was attended by over 200 people.
The fitness session had a lot of emphasis on power moves, a form of aerobics dance. There were other forms of fitness activities as well such as steppers, The Outdoor Atheletics (TOA), Bollyfitx , Yoga etc.
Kids performed on the theme of 'women empowerment.' They danced on popular tracks like O Re Chiraiya and Samay Ki Talash etc.
Mukta said, “A healthy woman is the foundation of a healthy family and since we are working towards objective of Fit India, I feel first of all we must make our women healthy. And, when we say health I mean holistically in mind, body and soul.”
