On the occasion, the RWAs representatives of different sectors including sector 40, 31, 27, 23, 10, DLF, 9 submitted a memorandum to the Gurugram MLA demanding the release of fund for the maintenance of parks to RWAs.

"The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) has stopped releasing payment to RWAs on the behest of the councillors. The RWAs are maintaining around 800 parks across the city and if funds were not released, it would be difficult to maintain the park and pay the salary to the staff." Yadav said.
