Dwarka police arrests accused for robbing Apollo Pharmacy

Dwarka: Dwarka police on Wednesday solved a case of robbery which took place at Apollo Pharmacy in Sector 10. The accused was arrested by the police and a part of robbed sum Rs 65,000 was recovered from him.  

The police said that the crime was committed on the point of knife on December 30. He took away Rs 75,000 cash and some medicines costing Rs 3,000. 

A police official said, “Following the incident, a team was constituted which immediately started investigating the case and collected the CCTV footages available at the nearby places, apartment, market, roads and analysed them and it was found that accused before entering into the Apollo Pharmacy, opened the knife from wrapper.”

“The accused was apprehended and during interrogation, he admitted his guilt,” he said.

The accused Gaurav hails from Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh and a B.Sc graduate in Health Science & Health Management from an esteemed University. He was previously involved in double murder case.
