Greater Noida buyers can’t complain enough about the lackadaisical attitude of builders in the city — whether it is missing deadlines or using poor-quality materials in projects. There have been so many issues of late that some of them even repent investing in flats in Greater Noida. Helpless buyers now sit in protest against an unending wait for their dream home.
The latest project to face homebuyer flak is Ace Platinum, a residential society in Sector Zeta 1 of Greater Noida.
Nitin Kumar, a buyer at the project, told City Spidey that he had booked a first-floor but when was given possession of one on the ground floor. “The builder had provided a very low safety grill on the balcony of the flat. But when I installed a higher one, the builder got it removed. This makes me uneasy about security," he added.
Kumar also said that the CCTV cameras in the society did not work and would be useless in case of a security breach.
Saurabh Upadhyay, another buyer, told City Spidey, “The builder has not even given me the registration documents of my flat yet. On top of that, the maintenance office is charging me arbitrary amounts of money in the name of electricity bills.”
Attempts to get answers from Avinash Nagar, the MD of the Ace Platinum, fell flat, as Nagar refused to comment on the issue.
