Ghaziabad: Apartment owners association (AOA) of Bulland Heights, a residential condominium in Crossings Republik, a township in Ghaziabad, went to annual polls on Sunday. The election was held for five posts.
In all, 50 out of a total of 120 votes were cast which is slightly below 50 per cent.
Harish Sharma, the newly elected president for 2020-21 tenure, described the low turnout in the elections as a worrying factor. He said it reflects the indifference of the people.
Sharing his core agenda, Sharma hoped that he will possibly fulfil it during his tenure.
"Our focus would be on taking over the maintenance which currently looked after by the developer," he said.
Listing his priorities, Sharma said, "The AOA will renovate the outer facade of our buildings and will also renovate the children's area in the society's park."
