New Delhi: A most happening place of East Delhi is all set to manifest itself after Makar Sankranti. The adventure park of Sanjay Lake, spread across a six-acre land of the 170 acre stretch of Sanjay lake, is open for treetop, bumping, jumping and many more such adventure activities for both adults and children.

For now, winter or cold boating has been suspended for the visitor due to chilly weather conditions in the park.

Sanjay Lake comes under the jurisdiction of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA). Six-acre area of the lake was handed over to a private company in 2015. Ever since the park is serving as an adventure park.

A large number of local people come here with families for entertainment and refreshment on a very nominal entry fee.

Manager of the park and media coordinator, Geetika Jain, said, “We have 200 regular members of the club of the adventure park till the date. They all participate in the  adventurous activities taking place in the park.”

She said due to extreme weather conditions boating facility was to be shut down. But people are still coming to the park to have some fun. So, they have decided to start the boating for visitors again in working hours of park i.e. 10 am to 6 pm.

“The six acre land of the adventure park has all basic entertainment and adventure rides. We offer the best cuisines and beverages,” said Geetika.
