Greater Noida West: Even as Gaur City 5th avenue is yet to recover from the shock it received from the brutal murder of Gaurav Chandel, another missing complaint from the society has landed at the Bisrakh Police Station on Friday.

Gaurav Sharma had left home to drop his son at his school some seven kilometres away from his resident at Gaur City 5th avenue in Greater Noida West. But he never returned since.

Talking to CitySpidey, Saurabh, brother of the missing person, said, “As he didn't return for a while, we grew anxious and dialled his number. But his mobile phone was found lying in the house. Hence, we decided to approach the police.”

Manoj Kumar Pathak, station house officer (SHO), Bisrakh, told CitySpidey that as per the complaint filed by the family, the man had left the house after an argument with his wife over the vegetable curry she had prepared.

However, Saurabh denied the SHO's claim saying no argument had taken place before his brother had gone to drop his son at JM International school in Tech Zone-4 area of Greater Noida on a scooty at 7:30 in the morning and never returned home since then.

The SHO said that they have registered the family's complaint and have been looking out for the missing person in the nearby area. They will also be sticking pamphlets soon if he is not found till evening.

"The family and the police are scanning the CCTV footage from Gaur City to the school to know the whereabouts of the man", Pathak concluded his telephonic conversation with this reporter.

Meanwhile, CitySpidey is closely monitoring the development in the case. Readers will be kept updated as and when fresh inputs are received on the matter.
