Noida: Continuing what they have been doing for years, residents of Aravali Apartment, a residential society in Sector 34, Noida, on Saturday carried out a cleanliness drive in and around their residential pocket.

When the drive was in progress, they lifted wastage from a park and internal roads in Block-B of the sector. They also encouraged fellow residents to maintain cleanliness around their houses in the sector. 

According to Dharmender Sharma, President of RWA, Aravali Apartment, they have been carrying out cleanliness drive since past three years on every second Saturday of the month. 

It helped them a lot in maintaining the cleanliness of their residential pockets.

He said, “If there is cleanliness, there is health. If there is healthy living, there is prosperity. Keeping this message in mind, we have been continuing with a cleanliness drive from past three years. It takes place on second Saturday of each month. We also encourage fellow residents of the sector to participate in the drive to maintain cleanliness.”

Residents were sensitised to keep areas around them neat and clean. Pradeep Singh, General Secretary of RWA, R P Prajapati, Treasurer, Randhir Kumar, R P Verma, Mukesh Kumar, Vinod Chaudhary, Subhash, Yashpal, and Rambahadur were present in the drive.
