Raj Nagar Extension's 17-year-old missing boy found

Ghaziabad: A 17-year-old-boy from Fortune Residency, a residential society in Raj Nagar Extension, who went missing on Thursday last week, was found by his father at Ayodhya.

The father, Brajesh Kumar, told Cityspidey that he received a call on his cellphone around 12:10 am on Wednesday. The caller, who is reportedly from an ashram (religious exertion), told Kumar that the boy, Kunal Gautam is with him.

“I received a call from a stranger who told me that a teenager is residing with him for two days and he somehow managed to obtain my mobile number from him,” Kumar said.

Upon hearing this news, Kumar along with his friends and relatives, immediately went to Ayodhya. The missing boy was found at Ayodhya and the family has taken custody of Kunal.

On Thursday, Kunal left home for tuition classes at 2.15 pm. Hours later, when he did not return, his parents grew anxious. They called the tutorial only to find that their son never visited them. The boy was missing since then.

Speaking further, Kumar said that for last two days, Kunal was staying with the monk at his ashram. When asked why Kunal left Ghaziabad, Kumar said, “He (Kunal) told me that he was not feeling good about something and just wanted to stay in peace for a few days.”

However, he did not clearly answered other questions related to his disappearance, the reason behind his disappearance and how he reached Ayodhya alone. “He is not talking much. We will ask these questions when we reach home,” Kumar added.

For now, the family is relieved after finding Kunal.

The boy studies in a private school based at Raj Nagar Extension. He is preparing to appear for his higher secondary CBSE Board examination scheduled in March this year.
