GB Nagar: Senior residents of various societies across Noida and Greater Noida organised a community feast to celebrate Makar Sankranti on Wednesday.

Makar Sankranti is a harvest festival dedicated to the deity Surya. It marks the first day of the sun's transit into Makara, marking the end of the month with the winter solstice and the start of longer days.
