Small courtesies make you a well-behaved flyer

You are ready to fly! While the cabin crew is there to serve you, you can also extend some courtesies to the airline staff and passengers to make the travel comfortable and enjoyable.

Here are some tips to make your journey memorable one.

Safety demonstration

Most people ignore the safety demonstration by airline staff thinking it is no use to them. Your ignorance does not only betrays your ruden attitude but can also prove dangerous for you only. What if you have to put the demo techniques in in use in case of an emergency landing.

Keep headphones away

Keep your headphones away and listen attentively to the flight attendant when is announcing something or speaking to you personally. A flight attendant is only doing his/her job. So, show him/her some respect. Your lack of interest may make you seem like an arrogant passenger.

Say ‘thank you’ and ‘hello’

A flight attendant not only serves you but also saves you. Therefore, always greet them when you board the flight and thank them for their hospitality  on your way out.

Keep the aisle clear

Aisle is not only for you but for everyone in the flight. So, don't block the aisle with your luggage, personal belongings, etc. Also, do not stretch your legs and arms. The aisle is meant for movement. So, unless you need to use the washroom, stay clear of it.

Follow luggage rules

Don't be an annoying passenger! Abide by the luggage rules for a smooth boarding. Listen to all the instructions – what you can carry and what you cannot – very carefully.

These are the small courtesies that will do no harm to you.
