New Delhi: Body of a 24-year-old guest was found inside a room at a 5-star hotel in Delhi on Friday. The guest was identified as Karan Chandra who was a resident of Malviya Nagar area.
On the date of the check out, the hotel staff tried to contact him, but he remained unresponsive. Later, the hotel staff found stench coming out of the room. Then, the staff informed the police.
Police personnel along with the hotel staff broke open the door to find himself dead with a suicide note. A police officer informed that some medicine strips were also found with him.
Police further said that Chandra was staying in the hotel since January. “He had put a Do Not Disturb board outside his room on January 20,” he said.
The police have conducted an inspection of the spot. The body was shifted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital for further proceedings.
