New Delhi: A family of SARS virus – coronavirus – is fast spreding from China to other countries in last few days. As of now, it has affected nearly 3,000 people in China and the death toll has touched 81.
As per reports, the virus initially spread from animals to humans. It spreads from infected person through cough, sneeze and handshake.
The symptoms include repeated high fever, running nose, prolonged coughing, weakness, cold, sore throat, headache and respiratory ailments like pneumonia and bronchitis.
The precautions include covering mouth with coughing and sneezing, wash hands frequently, wear masks especially in train or public transportation, take special care of the children and elderly people.
As far as cure is concerned, there is no specific treatment for the virus. As of now, there is no vaccine treat coronavirus.
