Noida: The denizens, who often complain about night life in Noida and Ghaziabad, have every reason to get ecstatic as the cities are gearing up to extend the working hours of bars till late in the night.
As per information, the bars will continue to be open till 2 am from April in both the cities. However, as far as star hotels are concerned, they will remain open till 4 am in the morning.
The Uttar Pradesh government has given its nod to extending the work hours of bars in both these cities. In its excise policy for 2020-21, the UP government has extended the closure timing by one hour.
The new policy will come into force from the month of April.
Moreover, a liquor App is also in the offing. On the App, the consumers can check nearest outlets, cost and authenticity of the liquor. Among other plans, meters will also be provided to the outlets to check the quality of the liquor.
On the other hand, the licence fee on country-made liquor was also increased.
