Two fresh suspected cases of coronavirus in RML

New Delhi: Fresh cases of suspected coronavirus surfaced in Delhi with two more patients admitting to the Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital on Saturday. With this, the total suspected cases of the deadly infection in the hospital has gone up to eight. 

The two patients have been kept in the intensive care unit of the hospital.

All the patients have a history of staying in China for the last nine to ten years. Their samples have been sent to Pune for further investigation.

Meanwhile, 399 students have been evacuated from China and all are kept in isolation camps in Manesar and Chawla in West Delhi. The students reached Delhi at 6 am on Saturday along with their families. They will be kept in the camps for fourteen days. 

The camps are being monitored by Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has sent a special team of doctors and paramedical staff to Wuhan, China to take stock of the situation there.
