Noida: A middle age man allegedly leaped to death from the 10th floor of his society, Gulshan Ikebana, located near Noida Expressway in Sector 143, on Wednesday.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Sanjay Singh. He was living in his Tower-D flat in Gulshan Ikebana.
One of the residents of the society said that some neighbours called him at night after they received frantic calls from his wife, who was not at home. Singh was not picking up her calls.
"After finding Singh’s flat locked, some neighbours and security guards started looking for him in the society. Later, they found him lying in a pool of blood in a small garden area on the ground floor. "Police was informed about the matter and Singh was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead," said a resident.
Police reached the spot and initiated an investigation into the case.
