Delhi: A massive fire broke out at a warehouse at Ambedkar Colony in Bijwasan area of southwest Delhi. No casualties or injuries have been reported yet.

The incident occurred at 4.30 am on Friday. At least 14 fire tenders from different fire stations rushed to the spot after learning about the incident. 

The fire occurred on the first and the ground floor of the warehouse which is built on a 700 acre plot. Different  types of materials including plastic wares were kept inside the warehouse. 

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. 

Last month, three incidents of fire took place in Delhi. On January 26, a massive fire broke out at a wood warehouse in South West Delhi’s Aya Nagar. 

On January 20, Delhi Transport Department office near Civil Lines metro station caught fire . Though no was injured, all the documents related to the department went up in flames. 

On January 2, a burning battery factory building collapsed in Delhi’s Peeragarhi industrial area near Paschim Vihar in which at least 14 people, including 13 firefighters, were injured.
