Noida: In continuation with move to improve sanitation standard, Noida Industrial Development Authority on Sunday carried out cleanliness drive in Sector 68 and also in a local village.
Residents from local village joined the drive while it was in progress at the various places.
For smooth conduct of the drive, officials had formed a team, which were deployed in sector and local village for cleanliness. They roamed each corner of the respective sector and local village to pick up waste and disseminate information about the benefits of maintaining cleanliness.
Besides cleaning, officials also listened to issues pertaining to civic facilities in the sector. They noted down these issues and assured that these issues would be resolved shortly.
Officials said that some of the issues were solved on the spot as concerned officers were present. They said that the drive culminated with oath taking program, in which, all participants pledged for taking time out for cleanliness.
