Noida: A group of residents, belonging to 7x welfare team, on Monday wrote to Ritu Maheshwari, Chief Executive Officer with Noida Authority, seeking her attention towards pending development of a road in their locality.
They said that a 200-meter long stretch nearby Elite Green Homes, an under construction group housing project in Sector 79, is yet to be completed.
Though, the traffic flow, especially after the closing of Sector 71 juncture, has witnessed sharp increase on the road. But the mentioned stretch is very narrow, which is causing bottleneck there.
Brajesh Sharma, an active resident and member of the 7x welfare team said that this part of road was not developed as there was land acquisition issue. Due to this, the width of the road became very narrow. It is about only 10-meter wide, instead, it should be 20-meter wide,” he said.
He further said, “We have sought her attention towards this issue and urged her to direct her officials to look into the matter so that the issue gets resolved.”
Residents have also drawn attention towards the vacant space, which was recently cleared from illegal occupancy. They said that this space is between Antriksh Golf View-I and II in Sector 78, which was also cleaned by officials of the authority under cleanliness drive.
Sharma said that a facility centre has already been proposed on the space. Keeping the past illegally occupancy, they have urged the top officer to look into the matter and expedite the process for developing the centre.
