Greater Noida: Parents of a five-year-old girl on Thursday lodged a complaint against a school teacher for not giving proper care to their daughter even when she was in full of pain and crying. Parents have also alleged the teacher for dislocating hand of their daughter badly.

In a written complaint to Bishrakh Police Station in Greater Noida, Amit Sehgal told the police that his daughter Gunnur Sehgal, who is studying in KG standard in Manthan School located in Gaur City 1, was mistreated and was not taken care properly by the school management.

Sehgal, a resident of Gaur City 1 said his daughter was playing at school premises when the teacher grabbed her hand tightly due to which elbow of her right hand got dislocated.

Later, when parents reached the school they found their daughter crying with acute pain. Parents along with the school principal taken the girl to a nearby hospital for medical aid. According to girl’s father, “X-Ray report suggested that elbow of left hand got dislocated.”

When father of the girl circulated a message in society's WhatsApp group and expressed his helplessness, residents of the society extended their support and demanded justice for the girl.

SHO Muneesh has done investigation in the case and found in the CCTV footage that the girl was not having food.

"Maid had taken the girl to the teacher. Holding the girl's hand, teacher asked her to eat. It caused damage to her hand. After examining all the details, we found that it was not intentional," he said.

The school and the teacher have apologised for the incident.
