Noida: In the wake of coronavirus outbreak in China, resident bodies of highrises in Noida shared a list of citizens who visited China recently with the health department. They also shared a list of Chinese residing in societies or in localities.
A resident of Grand Omaxe, a highrise in Sector 93B, said that they contacted the concerned officers of the district health administration and shared the names of all those who returned to India from China last month.
Data of these residents as well as Chinese residing in the localities were collected to ensure that they go for a proper test. He also said that two of the admitted residents visited China last month and also underwent a medical test in India.
The residents have urged the officers to conduct test at society level. As well, there are several Chinese companies which are closer to the sector.
The residents have given a list of 22 residents, including Indian and Chinese, to the health department, however the officials are yet to visit the society .
According to sources, residents of Mahagun Moderne, a society in Sector 78, also shared similar details with the health department.
