Noida: Residents of Golf Avenue, J M Aroma, and Dasnac, all highrises in Sector 75, Noida, carried out a cleaning drive of neighborhood park.
They complained that the filth was lying everywhere in the park, forcing residents to stay away. It was stinking and was looking eyesore in the residential pockets. But when they tried to clean it, initially, they were not allowed, residents complained.
Navin Mishra, a resident of Golf Avenue alleged that the neighborhood park was not looking good as the filth was spread everywhere in the park.
He said, “When a group of ten residents reached park to clean it, they were not allowed to enter as the gate was locked by the developer. After a round of argument with builder's staff, they entered the park forcefully and cleaned it.”
He said that the cleaning activity became possible only when few residents from other societies joined them. He said that the residents would initiate further such actions to clean other park as well.
